About Felma Cakes

Our story

I’ve always been a sweet tooth. Growing up, every Christmas my mother would order pastries from a baker friend of hers, and we loved every bite. Years later, I married a man who loves pastries just as much, and when he brought treats home for our two little ones, watching them enjoy every bite made me think: why not try my hand at this?

So I started learning online, picking up recipes and practising. Some bakes came out beautifully, and others were a no-no. But win or lose, my family enjoyed every one, and that joy kept me coming back to the kitchen.

Soon I fell in love with decorated cakes, especially character cakes, and began making them for my children’s birthdays. When my friends tasted them, they applauded, and then they started ordering. Their referrals brought in new customers, and what began as a hobby became a business.

I wanted to present myself properly, so in 2018 I trained professionally. In 2019, after about five years of baking, Felma Cakes was officially born.

I give glory to God for how far He has brought me. The kind words from my clients keep me going, and I look forward to serving both my loyal customers and the new ones who want to order.
